Discovery is part of every real estate purchase and sale.

That is usually the first question.

What questions are next?

Sellers want to know: When should it go on the market? Can we sell it as is? Do we need an appraisal? Are buyers pre-approved? And many others.

Buyers start with others: Can we buy it for this? Are there HOA restrictions or fees? Will sellers repair the roof? Do we have to get pre-approved? How long does this take? The list goes on.

No two sales are ever the same. Ever. There are so many variables – type of property, buyer or seller, circumstance, financing type, location, condition, and a long list of other possibilities. Whew!

Just hang on – there is a path thru the selling and buying process. The key is picking a good guide, a REALTOR you like and trust.

There is a home for every buyer & a buyer for every home.

If you buy or sell property every year or two, you may be comfortable doing it on your own.

But if you haven’t…you’ll benefit from working with a REALTOR. We guide clients through the steps of buying and selling property daily.

Choosing a REALTOR means you need to select:

Someone you trust and like – the trust factor is really important.

An expert who knows the market for YOUR property.

Someone who is there when you need them.

Facts – about property, inspections, lending, closing, when another professional is needed and why, and so many other issues.

Why are these important? It is your investment, your nest, your peace of mind, your future. These should be as important to your REALTOR as they are to you!

I work with all kinds of homes & buyers who want all kinds of homes.

If it does, let’s talk. Call me with questions. If the call is good, we’ll meet – over coffee or a beer – you decide! Let’s find out if we have a connection.

You should be comfortable with anyone who works for you in a real estate transaction. Meeting is a great way to pick my brain and compare what I do to what you need. After all, if a REALTOR doesn’t have time to meet, how will they show property, help you negotiate offers, and answer questions that HAVE to be handled?

This isn’t a typical real estate site. I don’t collect your contact info. I’m more educator than sales person, which my clients seem to like. My business is mainly with either repeat clients, or their friends and family. Many become friends. It is a great way to work and live.

“The move is yours – take the next step and contact me if this makes sense. I want you to enjoy moving to your next life chapter. If you decide that I’m not the REALTOR for you, it is okay. But…if you decide you want to take advantage of my experience…let’s get started.”

American Way Real Estate

“Natural & Down To Earth”

Brenna Piper is as natural and down to earth as anyone I’ve ever met. She follows thru and her word is good/solid. She looks at situations and can focus with a unique eye…. I’ve had some totally devastating encounters through the years. This wasn’t one of them. The Rolling Stones can get no satisfaction. I guess they never had Brenna working for them.

“Highly Recommend”

Brenna was our agent and was awesome. She saw us through selling our house and buying our new one. She was very knowledgeable on both ends – When we needed her, she was always available to help in any way she could. I highly recommend Brenna.

“Experience & Professionalism”

When we met this summer, I was instantly relieved to be working with you. I felt selling my mother’s home Cookeville from across the country was not going to be an easy task. I couldn’t have been more wrong. You made 2,000 miles seem like two! Your real estate experience and professionalism was apparent, but your warmth and kindness also made my mother (and, in turn, me) feel at ease through a brand new experience. I never worried about any of the details. I really appreciate you making this a great experience. Thank you so much for all that you did.

Life is a building process: School. Driver’s license. First job. Next jobs. Dating. Children. Homes. Yes, plural – homes. We all want our first home to be our forever home. In my case, it was a small farm outside of Nashville fondly called “the tick farm”. My friends and I coveted it. A co-worker bought […]
