Today's email box contained a message from a buyer about one of my listings. I'd answered a question earlier; today's message said that they thought they should see the property before going any further.

Buyers should always see a home before buying it. There is an exception for every rule, but this is one rule that should be kept as often as possible. I recommend seeing the target home more than once. The first visit is full of surprises; the second should be more matter of fact. Buyers always see things on the second trip that they simply didn't notice on the first. Before investing time and money in a home, take the time to really see it and ask questions about it before you hand over your money and receive the keys.
