It isn't the only thing people ask, but it definitely makes to the final 5. My answer for 2012 is confusing and exhilarating; my first closing in 2012 was a home purchased for $25,000.  My final closing for the year was this morning for a $475,000 home. The market is improving across the country, including in Tennessee's Upper Cumberland area.  Well-priced, well-maintained homes are selling for fair market value across the price spectrum. Real estate professionals, lenders, and builders hope the trend continues in 2013.
